| Shiksha Niketan organizes awareness campaign | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 17: An awareness programme on environment was organized in the premises of Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar Jammu.
This campaign was dedicated to 50th guru Nanak's Birth Anniversary organized by J&K rural Sports Club (NGO) in collaboration with Shiksha Niketan group of institutions assisted by Social Forestry, Jammu.
All the guests were welcomed by worthy principal Rameshwar Mengi, M.K Kumar (regional director, Social Forestry) was the chief guest on this event. He illuminated the young minds with the light of his knowledge about the environment and social forestry. The whole atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm. The club also bestowed 550 plants among the students and the teachers for plantation drive. |
