| Mankotia calls on Chief Engineer UEED | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Aug 17: Showing deep concern ongoing works under Udhampur Devika Project, Panthers Party President and Former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia called on Chief Engineer UEED Ashwani Anand at his office in Jammu and discussed ongoing work under Udhampur Devika Project.
Mankotia said that very poor quality of material is used in ongoing work as well as the ongoing work of sewerage pipeline in the streets of Udhampur in monsoons creates hurdles in common man routine life while they were forced to lock inside their home. Mankotia express anguish over lack of management & said that sewerage pipe line work should start in dry season or after monsoon but department has started the sewerage pipeline work in monsoon & left streets in pathetic conditions, he added
NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia said that Statue of Lord Shiva at Devika was constructed during his tenure as MLA without utilising any government funds, he appealed to Chief Engineer for not tampering the statue and any construction without his notice. Mankotia also said that funds sanctioned for Devika Project should not be misuse which is taxpayer money of general public.
Chief Engineer UEED Ashwani Anand gave patient hearing to Mankotia and also assured him for taking appropriate steps. S.E UEED Jammu Sanjay Gupta, Xen Taj Chowdhary etc also present during meeting. |
