Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 22: President of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) SC Mortha and National Co incharge of BJP's organizational elections Vinod Sonkar today claims BJP illustrates "How democracy is lived" as it represents true democracy in letter and spirit, while its activists carry out daunting task of elections right from Booth level to National level without any outside support, with such an example of brilliance and righteousness. He was addressing a meeting of BJP State Office Bearers, MLCs, former MLAs, Morchas, Cells, District Presidents, District Prabharis and Organizational Election Officers at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. BJP State President Ravinder Raina, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, former Minister Sat Sharma, MLC Ashok Khajuria, State Incharge Organizational Elections S. Varinderjir Singh, State Co-Incharge Organizational Elections Munish Sharma, State Incharge Membership Campaign Jugal Dogra also shared the stage during the meeting. Ravinder Raina gave the welcome address while Vinod Sonkar, provided a detailed overview of the technical details for the organizational elections. Sonkar emphasized that the Election Officers designated by the party must keep their mind free from any bias or prejudice. He said that the designated party leaders must set an example of righteousness. He said that the party has carried out its Membership Campaign with a "Sarv-Sparshi (Touching everyone)" and "Sarv-Vyapi(Present Everywhere)", and now the whole process of Organizational Elections will also be eyeing on giving representation to every community and every region. Vinod Sonkar, also congratulated everybody for the abrogation of Article 370. He said that long standing black spot on the Indian democracy has been wiped out with the realization of "Ek Vidhan aur Ek Nishan" along with "Ek Pradhan", which was done away with after Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee sacrificed his life in Jammu & Kashmir.
