Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 22: Government of India (GoI) Reorganising Jammu and Kashmir has rattled Pakistan. The neighbouring country is finding it hard to digest that the so-called disputed region has been turned into a Union Territory, which would be directly govern by the Centre.
Reorganisation of the state has disempowered the Kashmiri Politicians, who during past seven decades left no opportunity to blackmail the Centre and get harping that Kashmir is an issue and Pakistan as party to it.
An Analyst, while talking to Early Times said since the day National Investigation Agency (NIA) was handed over the responsibility to expose the element behind unrest in the Kashmir, the investigating agency beside nailing the separatists also tightened its nose around few mainstream leaders too.
He said that the Kashmir during the past seven decades had turned into an industry for the people who thrived on keeping the conflict alive. "It has been proved on many occasions that Kashmiri leaders from mainstream camp have acted like spokespersons of Pakistan and has always on out of way to appease the people sitting across the line of control", the Analyst added.
He said, "When tensions were at peak between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama attack, which led 40 jawans of CRPF martyred in February this year, one of the top mainstream Kashmiri leader threatened that Pakistan too has got nuclear weapon, if India takes any actions against neighbouring country it (Pakistan) retaliate in big way, the GoI bifurcating Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh into two union territories have left the leaders in Pakistan high and dry. They have approached the International community to garner support but none of the country except China has come forward to support it."
"The Pakistani stooges, who were active in the valley have been turned irrelevant by the investigative agencies and terrorist who could foam in trouble too have been neutralised, Pak stooges within the mainstream camp are under detention, Pakistan has no one for fall back upon to keep the pot boiling in Kashmir", said a Kashmir Watcher.
He said that some miscreants are trying to vitiate the atmosphere in the valley, but the security forces are not allowing succeed in their nefarious design. "Pakistan has been left with no other option, other than to stop harping about Kashmir, it has been proven beyond doubts that Pakistan army is not capable to fight a conventional war, Pakistan has already lost proxy war, which it has waged against India in Jammu and Kashmir 1990, the Pakistani leaders should accept defeat and forget Kashmir", the Kashmir Watcher added.
