Citizens forum demands 6 months interest waive off | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 24: Citizen's Forum President R K Chadha while welcoming the abrogation of Article 370, which is going to change the face of Jammu economy by the influx of large scale finances by purchase of lands by big investors from India and abroad for putting up large and heavy industries, increasing the infrastructure of Jammu Tourism and other job creating units. But at present business and industry is facing Gloom (Mandi) for the last 3 years because of demonetization and introduction of Haphazard GST. Chadha further said the present Border and security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, has further affected the business in Jammu with maximum losses to the Middle dass and MSME units. People fear losses which are increasing every day. The finance Minister of India Sitaraman has confirmed this situation prevailing throughout India. Citizen's Forum demanded a waive off of interest for 6 months for bank Loans for small business and MSME units to cope with the high level GLOOM(MANDI) in Business and industry in Jammu. We request Finance Minister . Sitaraman to instruct Banks to further provide financial assistance to those units and small business to save them becoming INSIPID or NPA otherwise to close down. |
