Jammu, Aug 24 : To promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya LokSangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) felicitated artistes for their notable contribution in the field of performing art specially for their presentation of excellent Performances at Abhinav Theatre on 17th of August 2019 and at open Air Theatre , DurgaBhawanJanipur Jammu a number of times. .K.Magotra Formely Regional Director, Dte. Of Field Publicity. Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Govt. Of India /MD, BLSKS who was the Chief Guest, honoured over 50 artists/ technicians by giving away certificates on the occasion.Dr.Anju Dogra, Medical Officer of Jammu and Kashmir Health Department, R.P.Amla , Event Director were the Guests of Honor. Chief Guest lauded the role of BhartiyaLokSangeet Kala Sansthan -(NGO) in promoting the Traditional folk culture of the region especially by staging 2- hour balled on life & teachings of Raja Mandlik for the first time in J&K State recently. The function concluded with colorful cultural program organised on the auspicious occasion of Janamasthmi.
