Jammu, Aug 24: One day awareness programme was held at NCC camping Ground Nagrota Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence.
In the awareness camp the NCC cadets were given the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, fire fighting alongwith demonstration by the Civil Defence Instructors.
While speaking on the occasion, Dy.SP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also share her views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during manmade/natural disaster.
Colonel Sukhbir Singh Assla Commanding Officer appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such important awareness programme.
He also advised the cadets to become good human beings to serve the society by joining such organization. At least 350 cadets of NCC and other training staff members attended the awareness programme. |
