Poonch, Aug 27: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements of forthcoming Muharram.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Tehsildars Haveli and Mandi, Assistant Controller Legal Metrology, CMO, ARTO CEO Muncipal Committee, AD Food Supply , XEN PHE, AEE R&B, besides other district officers and heads representatives of various religious organizations attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed arrangements for Power supply, water, medical facilities, Security, besides others
The DC directed the officers of PHE and PDD to ensure un-interrupted water and power supply during Muharram in the district and asked the Municipal authorities to ensure cleanliness in and around the Imam Baras for the conveniences of the devotees. The R&B department was directed to repair the dilapidated roads. CMO was directed for making the arrangements of medical facilities. The DC also discussed the security and traffic arrangements. |
