Students of Parul University have made their alma mater proud

Students of Parul University have made their alma mater proud by achieving success in all types of national and state level exams. A total of 39 students cleared GATE test this year. Thirty students from two of Parul University’s quality engineering Institutes such as Parul Institute of Engineering Technology (PIET) along with 9 students of Parul Institute of Technology (PIT) successfully cleared the test.

The qualifying students were representing 5 of the University’s leading departments including the Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. The qualifying students will get the opportunity to pursue higher educational studies under a national funding through the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). Apart from these departments other engineering courses offered at the Parul University include Electronic and Communication, Automobile, Chemical, Biomedical, Instrumentation and Control, Mechatronics, Agriculture, Dairy Technology, Petroleum, RoboticsEngineering.

Sandip Patel a pioneering student of Aeronautical Engineering secured a two digit rank (AIR-47). Also securing a spot in the nation’s top 1000, were Parul University’s Nirmal Patel, ParthModhvadiya, Sandip Patel, HarshilGohel and Saurabh Patel.

Another student Yash Dhaduk, doing his Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering has bagged a Gold Medal student for his outstanding performance during the Gujarat Technological University Convocation. Parul University had placed him under a fully funded tuition fees scholarship, from the commencement of his course, allowing him to pursue his passion.

Two students Siddheshwar Prajapati and Mukund Patel have qualified for the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Exam this year. Besides these, many students have got placement in established PSUs including Indian Oil and Hindustan Petroleum among others in the recent years.

All these students are mentored for special GATE coaching by the university’s teachers who have themselves qualified GATE several times and studied from the IIT/NIT education systems.
