Jammu, Aug 27: Congress has expressed full support and solidarity with the followers of Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj, who are agitating against the illegal demolishing of ancient Temple of revered Guru Ravi Dass Ji, in Delhi, by the authorities.
In a statement JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has expressed strong resentment over the attitude of the government towards the large section of society agitating for a religious faith and sentiment.
The religious faith and emotions of each and every class of people in this country is the core of our democratic values. It is highly regretted that the government has least bothered about the religious sentiments of down trodden sections and it is unfair not to heed to their demand, who are agitating all over country.
