Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 27: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has condemned the killing of a truck driver. Raman Suri said that Congress leaders' irresponsive statements and miscreants backed by Pakistan were responsible for such incidents. He said that these people, shaken by recent developments, were desperate and trying to destabilize peace here. He said that killing Abdul Qadeer Kohli of Rajouri district by militants and driver Noor Mohammed Dar of Zradipora Uranhall locality in a stone pelting incident speaks of the fact that some desperate persons were hell bent upon disturbing peace process and even resorting to killings of innocent persons. This, he added, needs a thorough probe and the guilty should be fixed. The steps initiated by Union Government, State Governor and his Advisors, besides security forces and entire administration, are all aimed at ensuring safety and security of people of Jammu and Kashmir. Restrictions in various parts of the UT and their relaxations according to situations are not only ensuring dawn of peace but also saving lives of our own people. However, Congress and other leaders, instead of backing government in letting the situation calm down and convince people about their welfare, are trying to fume in trouble for no reasons. Raman Suri said Congress must let the world know whether it is with abrogation of Article 370 or not. If it believes that the decision has completely strengthened J&K's integration with India then it must co-operate in establishing peace here. |
