Traffic Police hold review meeting of diversion of traffic | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 28: In view of huge traffic pressure and slow vehicular movement on the Janipur -Ambphalla Route , SSP Traffic City Jammu Joginder Singh convened a meeting with officers concerned officials on Wednesdays. During meeting it was discussed that Amphalla-Janipur road being the most vulnerable/densely populated area and leading road towards the High Court Jammu. During the meeting it was decided that diversion shall be given to Mini Buses/PSVs from August 31st, 2019 viz Mini Buses of Muthi-Bantalab -Kot Bhalwal and Agore routes from Rehari Chungi to Jaggi Darbar via Sarwal Hospital road -Patoli Morh for to and for movement. Further it was also decided chat prior to this a joint drive of AMC/Revenue/ Traffic and district Police shall be undertaken in City North especially from Rehari to Jaggi Darbar to remove road encroachments and wrong parking and others so that there is free flow of vehicular traffic movement . As encroachments made by the shopkeepers and illegal business of reharies and others on the foot paths and roads hinders the movement of pedestrians and obstructs free flow of traffic and cause inconvenience to the public and accidents.
