Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 28: Rajni Bala, Councillor of Ward No 60 on Wednesday initiated plantation drive at Paloura Park in presence of prominent people of the society. Speaking on the occasion, Rajni Bala laid stressed for increasing the cover of green in Jammu by planting more and more trees. She also emphasized on the importance of protecting the environment. She asserted that it is the duty of every individual to take care of our environment and preserving it for the future generations. Good life will come only when we have a healthy environment to live in, she said, urging people of Ward No 60 to plant a tree in the name of each child in their family for a better future. On the occasion, Rajni Bala also met with a large number of people who apprised her of their demands and grievances. Responding to demands and problems of the people, she assured them that all their issues would be addressed at the earliest. She assured the people that all the works related to development will be taken with the authorities concerned for early consideration of their demands. Tarun Vaid, Paroshtam Kumar, Varinder Mehta Ramesh Singh, Paroshtam Chib, Pintu Manhas, Kamal Singh Chib, Shivdev Singh, Kanta Devi, Anita Rani and Ram Pyari were also present on the occasion. |
