KATHUA, Aug 28: Special Lok Adalat for land acquisition cases and labour disputes was held today in the premises of District Court complex Kathua, under the Chairmanship of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Kathua, Pawan Dev Kotwal.
Two benches took up 14 cases, of which 8 cases were settled and disposed of. An amount of Rs 5,000 was recovered as fine.
The bench 1 comprised Pr. District & Session Judge Kathua, Pawan Dev Kotwal and Addl. District and Sessions Judge Kathua, Jatinder Singh Jamwal, while the Bench 2 comprised Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua, Yashpal Sharma and District Mobile Magistrate Kathua, Deputy Kumar. |
