| JMC Mayor starts development works | | |

Jammu, Aug 28: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta today visited different wards of city and met with residents and listened their demands.
In the areas of upper Shiv Nagar Rajpura Mangotrian he reviewed various development activities as well as Sanitation functioning of street lights, lifting of stray dogs etc. of Jammu Municipal Corporation alongwith prominent citizens including Balwan Singh, Sat Pal Khajuria and other residents of the locality.
Later he visited Rehari Colony area of W.No.24 along with Anu Bali Councilor of said ward, Surinder Chowdhary Councillor of W.No.29 & laid foundation stone of laying of cemented slab over nallah.
Officers of UEED as well as residents of Rehari Colony were also present during the drive.
Mayor directed the UEED & Engineering wing of the JMC to complete the development activities on war footing to redress the grievances of the General Public. He also appealed to the people to co-operate with JMC in terms of development works & other allied functions of the deptt. in making Jammu really a smart city.
