| Free Medical Camp organized at Moungri | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 2: Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organized a Free Medical camp and awareness programme at Moungari In this camp more than 450 people are benefitted by the camp suffering from different ailments. Free medicine was distributed. The programme was organized under the outreach programme of the hospital in association with number of Panchayats. Dr. Taran Singh Medical superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic hospital, Jammu inaugurated the camp. Speaking on the occasion Dr.Taran Singh said that under the outreach programme of the hospital many such programmes are organized in different parts of Jammu. Many patients from Moungari-Panchari area visit our hospital for diffrenet ailments. Since there is no facility of Ayurvedic dispensary in the area, hospital on the request of different Sarpanches and panchs decided to organize a camp in Moungari in the interest of Patient care. He said that being the Himalayan state and home of best quality herbs, J&K can become the best destination for people seeking health benefits under eco friendly conditions. We can adopt new strategy for promotion of health tourism in Jammu. |
