Jammu, Sept 13: Satwari Police solving Wednesday's snatching case have arrested the snatcher and recovered cash from him.
According to sources a bike borne snatcher on Wednesday following an aged woman from Satwari and snatched her bag from Barzala area. "The Rajdulari (70) withdrew cash (Rs 50,000) from a bank at Satwari and boarded on bus, the snatcher, Rakesh alias Vicky resident of Khandwal Chatha, who noticed the septuagenarian lady, and snatched bag and fled from the spot", sources said, adding that however, Police traced the snatcher and nabbed his late yesterday night.
"Rs 41,000 has been recovered from him", sources said. |
