Mount Litera Zee School hosts Hindi debate competition

Jammu, Sept 13: Mount Litera Zee School, Tarore today hosted Sahodaya Inter School Hindi Debate Competition on the occasion of Hindi Divas to mark the respect to our mother tongue Hindi where 16 CBSE Schools of Jammu region participated. Sunaina Mehta, Secretary Jammu Municipal Corporation witnessed the program as Chief Guest where as Nirmal Mahna President, Sahodaya School Complex, Jammu Chapter was the presiding Guest. Topic of the debate was -Does the education given through internet/online is better than school education. To make clear and open minded judgment Jia Lal Sharma, Ex-Director, Deptt. of Horticulture, Sunita Santoshi, Deputy Director, Helpage India and Rashpal Sharma Headmaster Govt. Middle School, Sarwa were present to give Judgment over the thoughts of the participants. Worthy Principal Sir of the School Dr. Rahul Kapoor welcomed all the dignitaries and declared the event open. Each school has two participants one spoke in the favor and one against the topic. Each Candidate highlighted his/her views over the topic and tried to convince and motivate the audience from their wordings. In the competition, Prateek from JK Public School, Kathua won IInd Consolation Prize, Samridhi Sharma from DPS, Kathua won Ist Consolation Prize, Mishti Sharma from Stephens International School won 3rd position, Bhavya Magotra won 2nd position and Stuti from Mount Litera Zee School, Tarore won first position. Overall all students gave a marvellous presentation. In the end, Management of the school presented the token of remembrance to all the dignitaries presented on the occasion and School Management also donated Rs 36500/- to Help age India for the welfare of the needy and poor people of the nation
Other presented during the function were School Chairman Dr. A.K.Kapoor, Managing Director, Madam P.B. Kapoor, Pramod Kumar Srivastava, Principal Model Academy, Jammu, KCS Mehta, Principal Army Public School, Akhnoor, Vikesh Kour, PRO Sahodaya School Complex and Swarn Choudhary IDPS, Jammu were the special invitees for the competition.
