Umeed Ek Pehel organizes free books distribution camp

JAMMU, Sept 13: Umeed Ek Pehel(Reg. Trust), under its literacy project, held a books distribution camp at Govt. Girls High School, Kacchi Chawni here today. In the Camp, books and other educational material like Water Bottles and School Bags etc. was distributed among a large section of students belonging to the marginalized sections of the society, free of cost Under the Chairmanship of Pankaj Gupta and Girish Sharma. Pankaj Gupta Said trust aims to encourage deserving and needy students by ensuring such facilities.
About 50 students belonging to needy families of Govt Girls High School, Kachi Chawni were given stationery items including notebooks, Bags, Shoe, pens, and pencils.
Pankaj Gupta Chairmen of Trust laid emphasis on the importance of education and competitive spirit in the life of a human being and especially students. He encouraged the students to work hard with great zeal and dedication to achieve the desired goals. Pankaj Gupta Said Umeed Ek Pehel believes that educating the needy and deprived children is the only way to secure the future of this downtrodden community. Girish Sharma President of Trust said that it was felt by Umeed ek Pehel of Jammu City that a large number of school-going children, who belong to poor families, have to shell out a substantial amount annually of the hard-earned money of their parents to buy books and sometimes it becomes very difficult for them to afford this because of financial constraints.
Speaking on the Occasion Head Mistress Rashim Rathor of the School appreciated such initiatives of Umeed Ek Pehel.
She Gives Warm Welcome to All Trustees and also stressed upon the parents to provide education to each and every child as Government school was having sufficient and highly educated staff. She said that the staff should work honestly and faithfully to make students the best human beings.
Meenakshi Sharma Trustee of Umeed Ek Pehel stressed on the importance of education and advised the students to work hard to successfully face the future challenges and become good citizens
