| DPS Jammu qualifies for nationals in fencing, judo c'ships | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 14: Abhijaya Sandhu (XI-A) of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and his parents by winning 1st position in U-19 category in Inter-District Fencing Championship for Boys organized by District Youth Services and Sports held at Guru Harkishan Public School, Jammu from 6-7 September, 2019. He has also been selected for the National level Championship to be held later at Chandigarh. Arnav Gupta (X-J) won gold medal in Inter-District Judo Championship organized by Sports Council of J&K held at M.A Stadium, Jammu from 5-9 September, 2019. He has also been qualified for Sub-Junior National Championship (U-15 category) to be held at Manipur in the month of October, 2019.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated both the winners and their coach, Mandeep Kour for the achievement. She also wished them luck for their upcoming events. |
