War between peace brokers and mischief mongers
9/20/2019 9:53:04 PM
While Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has stated that the centre would initiate many development projects to ensure that the vale of Kashmir was converted into a paradise after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A On the other hand senior BJPO leader has made a revealing disclosure' giving the shape of abrogation of constitutional guarantees a top state secret', BJP's newly appointed national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh has claimed that the process to abrogate Article 370, giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir, was started just after dissolution of the J&K Legislative Assembly in November 2018.. It was a not an old process nor a programme but had decided to keep this a secret lest there was violence in Kashmir
Santosh said this during a core group meeting of the state BJP . He argued Article 370 was abolished by the President by exercising power under Clause 1 (B) of Article 356 of the Constitution. "When President's rule was imposed in J&K on December 19, 2018, Clause 1(B) of Article 356 was also incorporated to facilitate abrogation," he claimed. "A group of 41 persons, including bureaucrats, were involved in the process," a source quoting Santosh said.. It means that it was kept a secret and some of the bureaucrats were involved in the process of revocation of Article 370 and 35-A. And when the additional paramilitary forces were deployed even the Governor was kept in the dark and he was telling people that nothing was going to happen.
The Governor was kept in the dark saying that additional forces were deployed to take on the militants who had been pushed by Pakistan into the Kashmir valley. And full military deployment was made to guard the public and private property. Not only this the separatists and the Kashmir centric mainstream political parties were preparing to measure muscles with the Government. But keeping the Kashmir off the TV and Telephones had shown better results and bigger results were proved after top leaders of mainstream political parties were kept under detention and to make it safer kept them under the House arrest. This left mishief elements without work to derail peace. Had if all goes well with Modi's promise of converting Kashmir to a paradise. It is a war between those who plan to create conducive atmosphere in Kashmir and those who wish to derail peace.
