Kathua, Sept 20: Three teenagers were booked by Police personnel under POCSO ACT. According to police sources, the incident came to light when the father of minor girl approached Police Station Malhar for registration of a case for raping her daughter by her school mates when she was returning home. In the complaint, he stated that her daughter was studying 4th class in the Government Primary School in the area was raped by the three boys and victim narrated the ordeal to the mother that the boys, who were also studying in the same school, had taken her in bushes near to the school and raped her. Acting on the complaint, Police personnel brought her to Associated Medical College Kathua for her medical examination. SHO Malhar Shamsdeen said that a case FIR No 9/2019/ under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences( POCSO) Act registered against three Minor boys and further investigation is on. |
