| BJP demands to rename Green Belt park | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has demanded renaming of Green Belt Park road as "Arun Jaitley Marg".
State Executive Member Raman Suri urged Governor and Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in PMO, to name Green Belt Park Road in Gandhi Nagar as "Arun Jaitley Marg" to give a befitting tribute to the great leader who has contributed a lot in building a strong nation as Union Minister. Since Arun Jaitley was married in Jammu, he had a special place for the state in his heart and deserves this respect as son-in-law of the soil. Raman Suri said Arun Jaitley always worked for people and was not only a good lawyer but also a great politician and a statesman. He said now that Feroz Shah Kotla stadium has been named after Jaitley in Delhi, a memorial in his name in Jammu would also be a great tribute to the statesman. |
