PM Modi scores yet another diplomatic victory over Khan in United States | India pushing towards getting Pak blacklisted | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 24: India pushing to blacklist Pakistan has put the neighbouring country in a quandary and has left cricketer-turned politician and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan nervous. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the Indian Americans at Houston on Sunday minced no words and made it clear that India and United State have joined hands to fight a decisive war against terror. An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Prime Minister Modi has once again proved that India enjoys the support of the international community and Pakistan stands isolated." He said that recent developments which have unfurled during the last 48 hours have proved it beyond doubt that Pakistan has been made to eat a humble pie and if it continues to support terrorists like Mumbai-attack mastermind Hafiz Sayeed and JeM chief Azhar Masood, international community would be left with no other option other than to blacklist the neighbouring country. "Financial Action Task Force (FATF) meeting is scheduled to be held next month and if Pakistan is unable to show that it is acted against the terrorists' leaders present in its country then FATF could go ahead and blacklist Pakistan," the analyst added. An observer said that the kind of reception Prime Minister Modi got in United States left Imran Khan shell-shocked. "PM Modi was received by one and all including United States President Donald Trump. On the other hand no one came to receive Imran Khan at the airport except Maliha Lodhi and few officials of the Pakistan embassy in New York," he added. The observer said that PM Modi has scored yet another diplomatic victory over Khan and has left him red-faced. All attempts of Pakistan to internationalize Kashmir have failed as no one wants to listen to Imran Khan, who has been dancing to the tunes of his Army and his country's spy agency ISI," the observer added. Referring to Imran Khan's recent interview in New York, another analyst said, "He looked dejected and desperate. Khan acknowledged that none of the Islamic countries has supported him since the day Government of India reorganized Jammu & Kashmir. His body language was an ample proof of the fact that he has conceded defeat at the diplomatic front and if his government continues to support the terrorists that could prove to be the last nail in Pakistan's coffin." It is in place to mention here that Khan while addressing a rally at Muzaffarabad in Pakistan occupied Kashmir earlier this month had asked his people not to march towards the Line of Control till he delivers his speech at United Nations General Assembly on 27th September. An analyst said, "Indirectly Khan was addressing terrorists not the people. But it seems his speech at UN won't make any difference now as the PM Modi has made it clear that India has already launched a decisive war against terror." |
