| Woman Sarpanch of Ghordi Khass West shows way for better cleanliness | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: Setting an example for other Sarpanchs, a young woman Sarpanch of Ghordi Khass West panchayat in District Udhampur Arti Sharma is busy in "transforming" lives by taking up developmental causes of common masses in under developed areas of her Panchayat and engaged in several cleanness drives.
She has launched various cleanness drives in her Panchayats to make it clean and green. Earlier, Sarpanch Arti launched several plantation drives in her panchayat. Today, she launched a Cleanness Drive in Government High School Langa in Ghordi Block of District Udhampur in which large number of students as well as staff of the school participated and cleaned the campus of school. On the occasion, they also took pledge to make environment clean and say no to polythene bags.
While talking to Early Times, Arti Sharma said her aim is to make her panchayat clean and green while at the same time she wanted to see her panchayat on the path of development. |
