Jammu, Oct 2: Mahatma Gandhi 150th Birthday was celebrated with the slogan "370 Khatam Hua Chalo Akhand Bharat Ki Aur" in Arora Bans Sabha at Kachi Chawni, Jammu.
Mahatma Gandhi's message of "Mera Desh Swacch Hoo" was followed and main bazaar of Kachi Chawni was cleaned by a team led by MLC Ramesh Arora (Adv.). Programme was organized by Arora Bans Sabha. Pledge was taken to avoid "Single use Plastic" and to "save water" by all present.
While addressing the gathering, Speaker Dr. Nirmal Singh said that National cannot forget the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi. He advocated the true concept of Swaraj.
PM Narender Modi wants to build new nation said Ramesh Arora, we pledge to get back our PoK. In fact Gilgit and Baltistan was occupied forcibly be Pakistan including PoK. It is painful that most part of this region is handed over to China. China is exploiting the mineral and uranium present there. They are not respecting Human Rights and even right to life is under threat of state sponsored terrorism in PoK and Baltistan.
Article 370 abrogation is welcomed said MLC Ajay Bharti but he further said that we have to achieve main goal of total integration and implementing 1994 resolution passed by Parliament of India.
He said that Mahatma Gandhi's path is to be followed by India and Mahatma Gandhi tried his best to avoid division of this country it was Congress who could not understand the sentiments of Mahatma Gandhi and passed the resolution for division of the country.
