Deadline set by FATF over, Pak at verge of getting blacklisted
Imran's real face exposed as he turns out to be Taliban Khan
10/2/2019 11:07:10 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 2: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has stated that Financial Action Task Force (FATF) can any time blacklist Pakistan for terror financing.
The Defence Minister said that excessive militarization and focus on wrong policies without financial progress have resulted in a situation that Pakistan Prime Minister is not able to make arrangements for a flight to attend a global event.
According to the media reports, FATF meeting is scheduled to be held later this month and decision on blacklisting Pakistan is on cards. "The FATF had asked Pakistan to take action against the terrorists and their bosses till September this year and has asked it to prove that the country has cracked the whip on the terrorists and the terror funding," said an analyst.
He said, "The deadline set by FATF is over now. Pakistan has not acted against the terrorists and they are operating freely in the neighbouring country. The terror infrastructure is intact so is the terror funding. The FATF is likely to consider all these points to blacklist Pakistan."
The analyst said, "Pakistan economy is in doldrums. The country is at the verge of becoming bankrupt. Despite facing so many issues within his country, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is threatening a nuclear war and is openly saying that his country supports terrorists."
An observer said, "Provocative speeches by Imran Kahn have exposed his real face to the international community. Since the day he has taken over the reigns of Pakistan, he has been talking about violence and war. The international community including the Muslim world has closed its doors on Khan, who has proved out be a Taliban Khan."
Another analyst said, "Pakistan through its actions and deeds has proved it to the entire world that it is a safe haven for terrorists and it has been responsible for spreading terror across the world. He said, "FATF blacklisting Pakistan would prove to be the last nail in its coffin as the country would be internationally designated as a terrorist country. It seems Imran Khan's dream of Naya Pakistan has been shattered as it would be internationally designated as Terroristan."
It is in place to mention here that Imran Khan after resuming the Prime Minister's office has been knocking at the doors of different countries for the financial aid and he admitted that his country is on the edge. "If FATF blacklists Pakistan no country will be able to help it," the analyst added.
