CMO office charges 100 for medical certificate without issuing any receipt | | | Ashwani Sharma Early Times Report Udhampur, Oct 2: Sources informed that Some employee of Chief Medical Office Udhampur is charging Rs 100 from those seeking medical fitness certificate for getting driving licences and that too without issuing a receipt of money taken from some people who don't know about Red Cross or other development funds "They are doing a wrong thing. As an educated citizen we know that whatever we pay to government offices we are supposed to get a proper receipt for that. But something fishy is here as concerned employee are not giving any receipt to some people including students and is taking Rs 100 for medical fitness certificate," a college student informed Many people said that on the pretext of Red Cross or other charges fee the CMO office is charging RS 100 from applicants without issuing receipt "Even for Red Cross or other development funds payments a receipt is issues, but same procedure is absent here. The authorities concerned should take a cognisance," a boy who work in barber shop had applied for the medical certificate said. Similar were the views of other applicants.
