Jammu, Oct 2: Property worth lakhs of rupees is reported to have gutted in twin fire incidents that took place at Lakhdara Bazar and Bahu Plaza areas, here today.
Police said that property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted in a fire incident that took place at hardware store at Lakhdata Bazar. The hardware store was owned by one Raj Kumar Gupta. Police said that no casualty or fire burn has been reported in the incident.
In another incident, property worth two lakhs has reported been engulfed in mysterious fire that took place at scrap dealer store at Kalka Colony near Bahu Plaza. The service of fire tenders were pressed into service which extinguished fire. Here also, no fire burn report has been lodged. |
