J&K Startup Conclave, Business Excellence Awards organized

Jammu, Oct 2: In order to foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Jammu and Kashmir Indocom Media Private Limited organized J&K Startup Conclave and Business Excellence Awards here at Zone By The Park, Jammu.
On this occasion, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation was the Chief Guest while addressing the startup founders he congratulated them and emphasized that the "Growth in the Startup sector depends upon the innovation, new ideas and new ideas can be introduced into the eco system by involving Startup community thinking differently and giving solutions to solve the issues of the business sector." He assured that the Government is taking number of measures to ensure that the Startup community continues to grow in a very significant way.
While speaking on the occasion, Tahir Rufayee Managing Director of Indocom Media Private Limited said that the event was aimed to strengthen entrepreneurship ecosystem in our state and for felicitating the young innovative business minds. He added Entrepreneurs have the capability to shape the world by developing businesses that are crucial for economic growth and development. However, there is a need to inspire our young generation to beat the turf and make their mark in the world and this conclave provided unique opportunity for businesses to network and forge partnerships.
The Conclave included various panel discussions in the areas of Entrepreneurship, CSR and Strategy.
The entrepreneurs who were honoured and awarded include, Dr. Varun Padha, Bhanu Partap Singh, Dr. Zinea, Vipul Gupta, Avinash Bassan, Nitin, Amandeep Boparai, Dalip Duggal, Ankush Bogal, Rumit Gupta, Vikramjeet Singh, Atul Sudan, Dr.Ujjawal Jojra and Dr.Priyanka Jamwal.
Ashish Kohli, Journalist was also awarded for highlighting the startup stories in media.
Shakti Dutt Sharma, President Grameen Civil Society, Amit Kapoor President Dogra Sangathan, RJ Shwetima, Preeti Kashyap CEO Ayush Medicity and Ankush Gupta Founder Jammu Startup Community were the Guest of Honours. The event was co-organized by Shreewar Productions.
