SME,DIC organize workshop on ZED Certification | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Oct 2: With an aim to create awareness among the Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to achieve Zero Defect in manufacturing to improve competitiveness, MSME Jammu wing & DIC Udhampur organized a one day workshop here at M/S Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. IID Centre Battal BallianUdhampur today. As many as 38 MSMEs participated in the day long workshop and interacted with the officials of MSME, DIC regarding the procedure to get certification. Joint Director Industries ( Development) Ved Parkash Sharma, Gm DIC Udhampur Suram .C. Sharma, Deputy Director MSME Jammu Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Assisstant Director Mohinder Sharma, President Industrial Association Udhampur Sh. UdhayVeer Singh and other office bearers of the association were present. The main aim & objective of the Awareness Programme on ZED was to sensitize the entrepreneurs to understand the need & benefits of ZED Certification in the present scenario and to achieve zero defect manufacturing, providing quality tools , promote energy efficient manufacturing, reduce wastage, develop new product and processes thus supporting make in India campaign. ManiK Gupta, Assisstant Director, QCI division of MSME Government of India gave power point presentation on the procedure for getting ZED Certification and discussed in length the benefits/incentives after getting ZED Certification.
