DODA, Oct 4: Commissioner Secretary R&B/PWD Khurshid Ahmed Shah inspected progress on roads being executed by R&B/PWD, PMGSY, JKPCC department in district Doda on the leg of two day tour of Chenab region.
District Development Commissioner (DDC), Dr Sagar D Doifode, Chief Engineer PWD/ R&B, Jammu Nasir Goni, Chief Engineer PMGSY Jammu Des Raj, Executive Director JKPCC N.D Khwaja, XEn R&B Doda, XEn PMGSY, XEn JKPCC, besides concerned officers/officials accompanied him.
He inspected progress of work on Sheva Dal bridge at Thathri, newly established make shift campus of GMC Doda, site of under construction teaching hospital Doda, Polytechnic college Beoli, residential quarters for doctors and paramedical staff ,district court complex and sub district hospital Bhaderwah.
The Secretary inaugurated road from Krara to Bhela, bridge on Barath road and laid foundation stone of of Parmaz link road, Pranoo Shahpura to Phangota road, road from NH to Shaja near Suigadi in the presence of DDC and Chief engineer PWD.
Earlier, Commissioner Secretary chaired a meeting with XEns of executing agencies PWD, PMGSY, JKPCC here and reviewed progress of ongoing projects being executed in the district Doda under various schemes like CRF, NABARD, languishing, state and district plan.
He directed the concerned authorities to ensure completion of roads, buildings and bridges in a time bound manner. He asked the DDC to facilitate speeding up the pace of ongoing road works before the start of winter season.
He also visited GMC Doda and directed the concerned executing agency to speed up the pace of work and ensure timely completion of maximum works. |
