| Polling staff imparted training | | |

SAMBA, Oct 4: A training session was today organized for polling staff here ahead of Block Development Council elections-2109.
Dy. District Election Officer, Rajeev Magotra, District Panchayat Officer, Piyush Dhotra also nodal Officer for training, besides district level master trainees briefed the polling staff. The first round of training began with distribution of training material and presentation on conduction of smooth elections.
The Staff was trained in operating, checking and counter sealing the voting slips, voters' list and to reject an invalid vote. The training concludes with doubt-clearing session and interaction with the participants. Polling staff was exhorted to stay vigilant against bogus voting. |
