| Wildlife Week: Awareness camp held in Mahore | | |

JAMMU, Oct 4: Wildlife Division Rajouri-Poonch, organized an awareness programme at Mahore as part of wildlife week celebration being celebrated from Oct 2 to Oct 8.
The grand programme was attended by Regional Wildlife Warden Jammu Region Tahir Ahmed Shawl as Chief Guest, while SDM Mahore Bhushan Lal was guest of Honour.
Commandant, Dy Commandants CISF and Police Officers of Sub-Division Mahore also attended the programme and delivered lectures on the wildlife Conservation.
A large number of local students participated in the awareness programme. A drawing competition and debate was also held. The civil society members of the area raised several demands before Regional Wildlife Warden. They demanded creation of Sanctuaries and Conservation Reserves in GulabGarh and Mahore areas to resolve man animal conflicts.
The Regional Wildlife Warden assured all possible help to the public. |
