Jammu, Oct 4: As part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations, free Medical Camp was organized by University of Jammu in collaboration with Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research Nardani, Bantalab. The Faculties, Officers, Staff and Students from different Departments attended the Medical Camp. Free medicine were distributed to the patients and they were also educated through power point presentation about doing Yoga practices and Panchkarma procedures like Abhyanga, Swedana, Nasya,Shirodhara,in the Ayurveda for the chronic ailments. Dr. Twinkal Gupta (Prof.) Deptt . of Kayachikasta (Medicine) , Dr. Ankush Bhardwaj (Associate Prof.) Deptt. Shalakya Trantri (ENT) Stressed upon the Healthy Life Style and Good food habits boost immune system that protect people from many chronic diseases . This Ayuveda Medical Camp was supported by YES Bank Gandhi Nagar branch. Dr Bharat Bhushan, Medical Officer (Incharge Health centre) and Dr Shabana Azami, Medical Officer, give thanks to the Dr Twinkal Gupta and her team to organize this camp. More than 80 patients participated in this free medical camp that was coordinated by dedicated team of Health Centre, University of Jammu, Ravi Gupta, Aman Sharma, Himanshu Mahajan, Suresh Sharma, sahil, Rajani, Darshan Lal and Arjun Singh. |
