| JSS Jammu celebrates Dussehera | | |

Jammu, Oct 4: To communicate the fact that ultimately it is truth and virtue that prevails over all evil, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated Dussehera with great enthusiasm and energy. Since, Dussehera is a celebration of victory of good over evil, our Primary-wing students presented a dance drama on how hard Ram exiled to the forest, the subsequent abducting of Sita by the demon King Ravana and the eventual triumph of Ram over Ravana. Signifying the victory of good over evil was brilliantly enacted. This was followed by a skit of conveying the importance of developing a string character by overcoming weaknesses received a loud applaud. A melodious bhajan by primary wing choir mesmerized the audience and a graceful dance performance was the highlight of the celebration. A effigy of Ravana was lit by Head Boy of the School Master Himanshu Bhardwaj. Harleen Anand & Sonakshi, members from management were present on the occasion. Sonakshi Anand in her address conveyed her best wishes to the students and motivated them to follow the path of humanity. Principal cum Vice-chairperson Rohini Aima in her address guided everyone to live a righteous life like Ram. She brainstormed students to give their opinion as the reason why we celebrate Dussehera to echo the message good always wins over evil. The programme was enjoyed and appreciated by one and all. |
