| GDC Paloura takes out rally against Plastic use | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 4: Government Degree college Paloura today organized a rally in the market and villages regarding the use of cloth bags instead of Plastic bags. The rally started from college to Mishriwala local market in which many students along with NSS volunteers interacted with the local vendors , hawkers and informed them regarding the harmful consequences of the plastic wares. The volunteers spread the message of " Say No to Plastic and its harmful effects on all the Eco system .
The rally was witnessed by Principal Prof. Rita Bhagat along with senior faculty members who accompanied the rally .
NSS volunteers along with the Principal, NSS programme officer Dr Sanjay Kapoor distributed cloth bags to these vendors and locals and motivated the people to use cloth bags instead of polythene bags |
