'Om' Par Bawal Kyu?
Omkar Dattatray10/24/2019 9:33:08 PM
It is very disturbing and disgusting that the grand old political party has leveled false criticism and has objected to the writing of 'Om' on the surface of Rafale jet fighter. It all happened when Defense minister of India Raj Nath Singh had performed weapons pooja on vijaya Dashmi. The Defense minister while performing weapons pooja wrote Vedic word Om on the surface of Rafale jet in France where he had gone to receive the first Rafale jet. The congress has objected and criticized the writing of word om on the surface of Rafale jet. There is no logic and rationale in the congresses criticism on writing 'Om'. The writing of Om on Rafale jet is in no way communal and against the secular tenets of India. One fails to understand as to why is congress and other so called secular parties upset and pinched on everything that represents India and Hindu culture. Congress from day first of its existence is habitual of denouncing everything Indian and Hindu. Perhaps congress has outlived its relevance and utility and is failing as a party. Thus congress is busy in criticizing everything Indian and everything that represents Hindu culture. The nation cannot tolerate such baseless and false criticism and objection to writing Om on Rafale jet. The purchase and contract of Rafale jet has been a subject of controversy thanks to criticism of Rafale purchase by NDA government. The Vedic word Om has great significance in 'Sanatana Dharma' as every Hindu ritual starts with Om and ends with Om. Om is without beginning and end. It is eternal and everlasting. Om is all pervading and all inclusive. In Om all universe and space is embodied. It is the nectar of life. Om is cosmopolitan and universal in nature. Om is the life and breath of our all vibrant culture and philosophy. It is central to all Hindu and cultural rituals. No Hindu ritual and function is complete without recitation of all pervading and all encompassing Om. Such is the importance of vedic Om. India is a spiritual and diverse cultural land where all cultures are assimilated in our culture and flourish side by side. The unity in diversity is the soul of Indian culture and society. But the word Om is not in conflict with our diversity. Then why has the congress and other secular parties objected and criticized writing om on the Rafale jet. The congress has unfortunately objected to weapons pooja by Defense minister Raj Nath Sing. They have termed it as the new nautanki-drama of BJP. Raj Nath Sing has rightly opined that the soul of India is its culture and spirituality and even congress leaders know it well. But there are some super secularists who denounce and belittle everything that stands for Indianess and Hinduism. This criticism cannot be tolerated by the Indian society. The congress party will be taught a lesson in the ensuing assembly elections in Haryana and Maharashtra. But then such criticism is untenable and cannot be accepted in any case. OM is the cosmic sound and vibration. It is the mantra which yogis practice in yogic exercises. OM is the sum total of the universe and space. However the importance of vedic om cannot be belittled as it is restless and rustless. 'Aum consists of three syllables such as aa, oo and ma & the Om is basic and primary sound. Om denotes whole Brahmand. In brief congress and other so called secular brigade should desist from criticizing Hindu culture and tradition which is progressive and dynamic. Why is there pain in the belly of congress leaders over writing 'Om' on the Rafale jet when cosmic Om is the life and breathe of India? It seems that the congress is working on the directions of the forces inimical to India. One wonders why is congress and company insulting Hindu culture and its all pervading symbol Om which encompasses everything. In fact such objection and insult will backfire and damage the Congress's prospects in the coming assembly and other elections. Let the congress introspect and desist from insulting Hindu sentiments.
