Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 24: Commissioner Secretary, Forest, Environment and Ecology Department, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, today convened a meeting here to take a detailed review of the departmental functioning. Suresh Chug, Chairman Pollution Control Board, Dr. Mohit Gera, PCCF, P.K Singh, Director Soil & Water Conservation, O.P.Sharma, Director SFRI, Neelu Gera, Director Social Forestry, S.K. Gupta, Chief Wildlife Warden, Parveen Kumar Ragav, Special Secretary, (Technical),. Ramesh Kumar, CCF, Parvaiz Ahmad Handoo, Director Planning, R.S. Bali, Director Finance, Forest and other concerned attended the meeting. During the meeting, deliberations focused on the evaluations of the centrally sponsored schemes, Capex budget 2019-20, CAMPA funding, Green India Mission, action taken on Sustainable Development Goals, response to AG's annual review report of the department and status of 160 works targeted for completion during the current fiscal. Timelines were fixed for accomplishment of various targets. Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner Secretary desired that PCCF and Chief Wildlife Warden should vigorously follow the proposals under various Centrally-Sponsored schemes including Green India Mission for timely sanctioning and funding. He stressed upon the officers to work in coordination for achieving all the set targets on time besides gear up their men and machinery for bringing additional vibrancy in the departmental functioning. |
