Kavinder inaugurates Apsara road heritage LED lights

Jammu, Oct 24: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta, inaugurated the heritage LED lights at Apsara road in presence of Mayor Chander Moha Gupta, Dy. Mayor Purnima Sharma, Priya Sethi, Yudhvir Sethi, Vikram Randhawa, Ankush Gupta, Amit Jandyal, Ashu Gupta, Anil Kohli, Raghav Gupta, Nayan Gupta, Ankush Dogra, Rohin Chandran, Indu Bhushan and other prominent persons of the area. The LED lights have been installed out of CDF amounting to 26 lakhs of completed at the cost of 70 Lacs. Addressing the gathering, Gupta said, "BJP is committed for equitable development of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir. The party is committed to provide area based Smart Solutions to infrastructure and services in the state." Addressing the gathering on the occasion, he said that number of road macadamization and up-gradation works have been taken up with special thrust on the use of quality material. Highlighting the achievements of present dispensation in PWD, PHE and other sectors, Gupta apprised that more than 830 KM road length has been upgraded, more than 400 transformers and 15000 new electric poles have been installed in Gandhi Nagar constituency in the past five years. He said all the already approved works shall be executed by the concerned agencies in phased manner. Gupta said that the elected councillors and Sarpanchs/Panchs from the respective areas has to play a vital role for the overall development of their wards and they should come forward forgetting the party affiliations so as make the Gandhi Nagar constituency a model Constituency Kavinder Gupta said an effective monitoring mechanism has been put in place to enforce accountability and transparency in the implementation of developmental schemes. He said, officers are duty bound to personally monitor the quality of execution of the work, adding that, there should be no compromise on quality. He said that government would create durable assets in the state under core sectors for this purpose there was no constraint of funds.
