| Sunderbani block witnesses cent percent voting in BDC polls | | |

Sunderbani, Oct 24: Block Sunderbani witnessed cent percent voting in Block Development Council elections held today and Indpendent candidate Arun Kumar Sharma was declared successful after the results were announced.
Block Sunderbani has 17 panchayats having 164 votes in total. The voting was cent percent which started early in the morning and ended at 4 pm, in which Arun Sharma got 97 votes. His other two rivals one from BJP, Bodhraj got 34 votes while another independent candidate Anil Kumar got 33 votes respectively. While talking to Early Times the locals said that each time we elect a representative but after elections are over he or she forgets the promises made with them.. But this time we have trusted a new face and we pin hopes that he will be able to prove his worth and do developmental works in the block they added. |
