Independents bag 5 seats in Vijaypur , BJP bags 4 | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Oct 24: The BDC election in District Samba held in nine blocks. Out of which the BJP win only 4 and the Independents win 5 seats. It is learnt that the Independents candidates were supported by N.C. as well Congress party. In Vijaypur Constituency the BJP looses all seats. In block Vijaypur Yogeshwer Singh secured 79 votes and defeated to Romesh Kumar with margin of 23 votes. In block Ramgarh Darshan alias Kala secured 58 votes and defeated to Vijay Kumar alias Baba with the margin of 20 votes. In block Bari Brahmana Rajni Devi secured 63 votes and defeated to Indu Bala with the margin of 16 votes. It is big set back to BJP particularly in Vijaypur Constituency. The result of BDC election shows that the people of Vijaypur Constituency are not satisfied with performance of ex-MLA. It is learnt from the sources that the BJP cader of Vijaypur Constituency is not happy with the conduct and behaviour of ex-MLA. Most of the senior workers of the party have drawn the due considerations to high command regarding for not taking them into confidence while issing mandates in civics, panchayat election as well as BDC elections. The gross root workers have been demoralised, the command should take a lesson from the result of BDC election. |
