Jammu, Oct 28: A boutique situated in Sarwal area turned into ashes due to short-circuit broke out mysteriously.
According to sources, the fire damaged one boutique namely M/s Pehnawa boutique and a cloth house M/s New Lakshmi Textiles. "A fire broke out, during Dewali night, but timely actions on the part of concerned Police and Fire Services, the fire was doused of spreading to nearby shops", said locals ,adding due fire two firms reduced into ashes in few minutes.
Suresh Kumar, the owner of the New Lakshmi Textiles and Ambika Kumar the owner of Pehnawa Boutique expressed gratitude of Police and the Fire Services. "Though our property worth several lacs rupees turned into ashes, but we are great full to all mighty that no loss of life has taken place, future, raw material (stitched and un-stitched suits), machinery and clothes stored in New Lakshmi Textiles got burnt also", they said. |
