Give me a chance, will work 24X7 to resolve your issues: Munish to people | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 29: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Tuesday said that his decision to contest the forthcoming Assembly polls as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency seems to have unnerved many politicians. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Shastri Nagar, Munish said, "Since the day I've decided to contest the upcoming elections I have been reaching out to people and listening to their grievances. During all these days I have made an honest attempt to highlight the problems faced by the common man." He said, "If people give me a chance to serve them I assure them that I will work 24X7 to ensure that their problems are solved and they don't have to wait for years together for small things to happen." He said, "During my ongoing mass contact programme I have come to know that most of the areas in Jammu need basic amenities. Stinking garbage dumps, no proper water and electricity supply, dilapidated roads and choked drains are an integral part of most Jammu areas. Repeated pleas of people to provide them with the basic amenities have been ignored by one and all during all these years." Munish said that if he wins the forthcoming elections he won't turn his back towards the people and will try his best to work for them. |
