Jammu, Oct 29: Congress has decided to hold a function at Indira Chowk Jammu to pay homage to former Prime Minister of India Smt. Indira Gandhi on her 35th martyrdom day, at Indira Chowk, Jammu, on 31st October.
In a statement Chief Spokesperson JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma said that the function shall start at 10:30 a.m. onwards to pay homage to the former Prime Minister of India, as per of all India programme of the Congress party. PCC President Ghulam Ahmed Mir and other senior leaders of the party and workers shall attend the same.
On this occasion rich tributes shall also be paid to Sardar Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister of India, whose birth anniversary falls on this day. |
