Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 29: At least five students were trapped after an encounter broke out outside a board exam centre at Drabgam in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. The students have been rescued, however, at least three to four terrorists are believed to be trapped inside a house in the area. An encounter is underway. According to sources, the terrorists opened fire at a CRPF party deployed at the school as part of the security arrangement for the Class 10 board exam centre. The encounter occurred almost an hour after terrorists fired at least six to seven rounds fo fire on the CRPF party outside the school at Drabgam and fled from the scene. "Unidentified terrorists fired six to seven rounds on CRPF deployment at school which was an examination centre in Drabgam, Pulwama district. CRPF and local police was deployed to guard the centre. No injuries have been reported so far,"a CRPF statement said at the time. The security forces had cordonned off the are and launched a search op after the initial firing.
