| BMS will launch agitation against shifting of labour office Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 30: A deputation of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh and Bhawan Nirnman Mazdoor Sangh lead by Subash Verma state President BMS along with Ashok Choudhary, Gen. Secretary BMS Harbans Choudhary Gen. Secrtary BNMS, Roop Lal District Secretary Rajouri Ravi Kumar,and Chuni Lal met with the additional Divisional Commissioner Jammu and submitted Memorandum regarding forcibly capturing the office building and land of Labour Department office Rajouri by Deputy commissioner office Rajouri just to use funds allotted for construction of Election commission office over the land of labour office before the implementation Jammu and Kashmir reorganization Act 2019 so that they can show the budget in books for utilization.
The labour leader has alleged that the land is properly purchased by the labour department in the year 1980 and has full documents, but the Deputy Commissioner office is in very haste manner trying to build their office on the said labour office just to exhaust the funds meant for construction of District Election commission office without transferring land deed.
That in a recent Board meeting of J&K Building Construction Workers welfare Board which was chaired by Advisor to Governor Kurshid Ahmed Ganai on 17.9.2019 it was proposed to build new office complex for housing Labour office, PF office and J&K BOCWWB district office in Rajouri and the site being proposed for labour office is about 13 KM away from the city and it is impossible for poor workers those who came from for flung area. BMS demand that labour office may not shifted to any other place and if needed BMS will start agitation against this move and also demand high level enquiry for enquiry. |
