| SDH Thathri lacks specialists | | Locals showed anger on hospital administration | | Abid Hussain Wani

Doda, Oct 30: Hospital is located in Thathri town of Doda district, in center of three constituencies viz Inderwal constituency, some tehsils of Kishtwar constituency and Bhalessa area of Bhaderwah constituency.
People are demanding suspension for those doctors who are not joining the Hospital after their transfers here. They claims that if any specialist posted here, he/she came for a week or more and thereafter leaves the hospital forever. There are 8+ ward rooms in the old building of the hospital which are locked because of no facilities and less number of doctors. There are only 3-4 medical officers posted in this hospital.
Locals also claims that if any accident or emergency case comes to hospital, it is always refered to District Hospital and in most cases, the patients left their last breath on road.
The hospital ground is used for parking of private vehicles of the people which makes hurdle while referring or entering any ambulances.
Almost hundreds of precious lives died during last years due to non facilities and non availability of specialists in this hospital. |
