| JU accords warm send off to superannuated official | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 30: Jammu University Officers Welfare Association bade warm farewell to Shamlal Sharma, Assistant Registrar, University of Jammu who has contributed 39 years of service in the University.
The President, Jammu University Officers Welfare Association briefed about the services at different levels rendered by Shamlal in the University of Jammu since his appointment.
On this occasion, various senior officers of the Association expressed their experiences of working with Shamlal who in the end shared his rich experience of services rendered in the Institution.
The President also welcomed the newly appointed Assistant Registrars and the Deputy Registrars. He appreciated this development of the University as these positions were lying vacant since long. The Association applauded the sincere efforts of the University Authorities in having filled up the vacant positions of the Assistant Registrars and Deputy Registrars as there was urgent requirement of Officers at the middle as well as the entry level so as to shoulder extra work load caused due to various new projects initiated by the University under Liberal Grants released by RUSA and many other funding agencies. |
