Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 31: Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today welcomed the conversion of Jammu and Kashmir state into a Union territory and demanded from the government to focus on the education sector. Deepak Gupta State Secretary said there are number of flaws being highlighted from time to time by ABVP in which lack of lecturers in the higher education level has been an issue of utmost importance due to which the student community suffers at large. He said that the lacuna that was created by the politicians between students and education has drive the youth of this state in the hands of terrorism. He said that the lack of lecturers in the far flung areas like Doda, Baderwah, Bani, Mendhar, Poonch etc has made the result of +2 grade even more worse with each passing years, which the new Lt. Governor must focus upon. |
